Wild Weekly Photo Challenge #14: Scary
I’m participating in the online adventure travel and photography magazine LetsBeWild.com’s Wild Weekly Photo Challenge for bloggers. This week’s Challenge is: Scary!
I’ve chosen two images that are scary for very different reasons. The first is more about the imagination and the other was about the threat of physical danger.
This tree in Marl Woods near Conway, North Wales, looks though it has blood splattered all over it. Imagining axe murderers and other possible causes of blood splashes was quite scary!
Can you see the edge of our window in the bottom right of the photo? That’s how close we were to these powerful creatures. When they began stirring and checking our vehicle out, it was a scary moment., indeed!

Worryingly, it was wide open! Better for taking photos but quite nerve-wracking!
That tree would make a very effective book cover. It’s quite horrifying! A more frightening photo than the creatures in the second shot!
